Clark Wants Justice!!

Corey Clark, the American Idol contestant who bonked Idol judge
Paula Abdul, claims the Fox Network and American idol are trying
at "assassinate
his character".
In a statement issued by Clark today he says "It is painfully
clear that unless my fellow AI season 2 contestants and I are directly
involved with Fox executives during the investigation, we will never
know if an investigation ever really took place. With that said,
I will not only fully comply with a Fox investigation of American
Idol, but I will refrain from discussing my information concerning
the questionable conduct with anyone except the officials handling
the questioning once the investigation begins."
Clark added, "I realize now that without my direct participation
in a Fox probe, we will never find out what the fans, the sponsors,
and the network deserve ... the truth."
Clark says he will co-operate in an investigation of American Idol's behind the
scenes conduct.
A press release issued by Clark reads "In spite of Fox & American Idol's
countless attempts to assassinate the character of Corey Clark and place his
allegations on the backburner, he is stronger than ever. As a good faith attempt
to set the record straight and end the media's portrayal of him as being uncooperative,
Clark would like to accept Fox's invitation and participate in a thorough investigation
of the American Idol 'machine.' Clark has agreed to step forward and offer Fox
executives his full compliance and participation in a fair and thorough examination
regarding American Idol's questionable 'behind the scenes' conduct. This new
offer coupled with Clark's previous offer to assist any other third party investigations,
which remains open, is a sincere gesture to show his willingness to cooperate".
It continues "Additionally, Clark has been informed that he will have the
added support of several other former AI season 2 finalists. All of Clark's season
2 supporters have agreed to participate in a Fox probe if it (Fox) actually follows
through with its very public promise to investigate. Up until this point however,
neither Clark, or the former idols who have offered their support, have been
contacted directly by Fox officials about information they may have been exposed
to as contestants -- that undoubtedly would help with the pursuit of truth".
