I was at the Top 12 party the other night held at the Pacific
Design Center in West Hollywood. Party started around 7:30
(PT). So yeah the results show on Thursday wasn't live.
There was certainly a good amount of media covering the event. Among the 12,
David Archuleta and David Hernandez were the two who were given the most attention
by the press.
Hernandez was basically asked the same questions over and over again by the media
men and women about his stripper past. The guy was a mess and couldn't answer
the questions straight up.
In one corner, Archuleta was cornered by a few press people and politely answered
some queries. Basically he was the star attraction of the event. Most of the
celebrities who attended also befriended Archuleta the most and there was this
brunette teen actress who goes by the name "Sophie" and was all over
the kid.
There was Brooke White and Kristy Cook who chatted in one corner. Brooke for
most of the time ignored her husband and favored to chat instead with her "BFF".
Ramiele Malubay was probably the most emotional among all of them. She was quiet
all throughout the party. And yeah, she is really really short in person as compared
to Carly who was definitely taller than me.
Michael Johns was the most soft-spoken among the guys as compared to Jason Castro,
who was more active in real life than you guys see on TV. Johns I think suffered
from exhaustion and was pretty much sulking on his buffet table.
I also spotted ex-idol Constantine who I taught for one was a party crasher.
Nigel approached him and said something along the lines "I don't remember
inviting you here" which never got to me as a joke.
