David Cook's Childhood Home for Sale
Cook is in the final four on American Idol.

BLUE SPRINGS, MO. -- A Missouri real estate agent is selling
American Idol contestant David Cook's childhood home.
The home at 1120 S Sunnyside School Road in Blue Springs,
Missouri is being sold for $135,000. And the agent lists
it as "David Cooks' childhood home."
So, what kind of house did David grow up in? It has three
bedrooms and three bathrooms, a finished walk-out basement,
and a fenced in backyard. It was build in 1990 when David
Cook was 7-years-old.
The realtor, Lisa Muller from Reece and Nichols, said David's
mom bought the house new and his family lived there until
two or three years ago.
Muller admits that she's hoping Cook's name will help her
sell the house.
"The market's so bad.. I have to be honest," Muller
said. "Since he's going to be in Blue Springs next year,
I wanted to make sure I got my name out there."
David Cook advanced to the final four in Wednesday night's
American Idol results show. Assuming he makes it to the final
three, a parade and concert is scheduled for Friday, May
9 in Blue Springs.
There will be an open house for Cook's childhood home this
Sunday from 1-4 p.m.
