I often do not write articles for my own website, but today,
I am. I found a article that was concerned for Ramiele because
she cried when Danny Norega was voted off last night. It
was titled American Idol Intervention: Someone help
Ramiele Malubay! They were concerned that she could
not handle the competition. I keep hearing people make their
assumptions, that, yes, this IS a competition, but they CANNOT
possibly be friends behinds the scenes, since they are all
competing together. It’s Fake, they pretend to care,
they pretend to be happy if someone else wins, or makes it
further than they do. Has America lost it’s mind? Do
you, the general public never compete with your boyfriends,
or friends, or even your parents in family night games after
dinner? My husband and I compete to see who can find out
information the fastest on certain topics, by doing a GOOGLE
search. Who ever can find it first, correctly wins. I love
my husband, but if he succeeds, I am happy, I just try again
later the next time to beat him for the smug look I can give
him then. I understand that this has more weight on importance,
it is for a future career, and not just trying to beat someone
for the fun of it. But come on, just because it is important,
does not mean your an insensitive ass like Simon Cowell.
During the auditions they often show over and over how Simon
just cannot fathom how others are happy for the person who
gets a golden ticket. Even that person's family. How odd
is that?
Katharine Mcphee, just got married.... Kelly Pickler was
one of her bridesmaids. WHOA! How can that be? They were
competing together on stage, they should be enemies!!! David
Archuleta was in tears, when one of his competitors had to
exit the stage and end her stint on Idol. Know why?? Because
their fathers are friends, and they became friends during
their competition on Star Search years ago. People make
connections, that is life. It is not fake, they are not frenamies.
When you are stuck together, forced to be together, something
strange happens... You start to talk. You start to be friendly,
and try to make connections with people. You find yourself
caring for people, and although you want to be the one to
win, it does not hinder your heart to also say a little prayer
for the others you hope have some success. You actually find
that you are happy when someone else is happy that you care
about. It is called being a human. I am so tired of people
making cracks that the Idol contestants cannot be friends,
making fun of them when they cry, zooming the camera in on
their faces, and then shouting out in articles around the
world that it makes a person unstable or unable to handle
the pressure when they show concern, or sadness that someone
they met and learned to care for that has talent left before
their time.
What are your thoughts? I want everybody to leave a comment,
i am highly interested in finding out if i am alone in thinking
